World's Fair Premium Corn.

In a community that is given very extensively to the production of corn, the question of the right variety and good seed are things that interest all. We here present a photograph of Mr. W. S. Patterson who has sold more seed corn during the past year than any other man in Central Illinois.

The World's Fair Premium yellow corn has never been beaten when exhibited for premiums. At the Illinois State fair of 1895, Mr. Patterson won first premium in Northern division exhibit, sweepstakes and grand sweepstakes, the latter over all exhibits. The picture here shown was taken just after the prizes were won in '95. Since that time he has won premiums at Farmers' Institutes all over Central Illinois. He has been shipping the seed in many instances by the carload
and has for some weeks past been kept busy filling orders. The variety is very handsome, symmetrical, true to name and as a yielder cannot be beaten.

Mr. Patterson hails from West Virginia but has farmed in this community a number of years. He will move to Exline, Kankakee county, March 1, and orders will be promptly filled if addressed to that point after that date.
