This is inside the Grand Opera House which was located at the northwest corner of Front and Cherry Streets.  The El Paso Story reports that this building was a movie theatre beginning in 1912.  The building was air-conditioned in 1950 and torn down in 1971. It looks like the opera house had been decorated for a possible graduation ceremony in this photo.  It is now the location of Rebbec's car lot.
